The research population included 124,800 undergraduate, Master and PhD students, from three governmental universities of Tehran, Sanati Sharif and Sanati Amirkabir. Stratified random sampling method was applied to select 378 students as a sample. For data analysis, SPSS software was used along with descriptive techniques as well as independent test and ANOVA where needed. The main objective of the present research was to study the relationship of knowledge shar-ing and organizational commitment in Tabriz universities Librarians. (N=143), all of whom were selected as the sample based on the census sampling method. The number of returned question-naires was equal to 136 (95%). The required data and information were collected using the 13-item Wang and Wang Knowledge Sharing Questionnaire, and the 24-item Meyer and Allen’s Model of Organizational Commitment.. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient for knowledge sharing, and organizational commitment was obtained 0.81, and 0.72, respectively. For data analysis, descrip-tive and inferential statistical methods were used. Descriptive statistics was used for data classi-fication, summarization, and interpretation. In inferential statistics, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and Pearson correlation coefficient, Spearman correlation coefficient and one-sample t-test were used. The study findings showed that there is a direct and significant positive relationship be-tween knowledge sharing (and its dimensions) and organizational commitment. The results re-vealed that mean scores of knowledge sharing for principals participated in this study were high-er than the average.
