The purpose of this study is to investigate the attitudes of faculty members of Yazd University about knowledge sharing and analysis of related factors. In this research, descriptive and survey methods have been used. The statistical population of the study includes all faculty members of Yazd University. The sample size was determined based on the Cochran formula of 115 people and the samples were selected using the stratified random sampling method. In explaining the factors related to faculty members' attitudes about knowledge sharing, individual characteristics including gender, age, work experience, and academic rank were considered. SPSS 21 software was used for data analysis. Findings showed that there is no significant relationship (p˃0.05) between gender, academic rank, work experience, and age of respondents in terms of three variables of behavior, attitude, and awareness. However, the relationship between faculty members' attitudes and variables of behavior, knowledge, tools, and motivating and limiting factors (P˂0.001) was significant. Given the positive and significant relationship between factors affecting knowledge sharing and attitudes about knowledge sharing, it can be said that the existence of a strong organizational culture leads to an increase in the willingness of people to share knowledge and their success in doing this with colleagues.
