درآمدی بر رفتار اطلاع‌یابی دانشجویان تحصیلات تکمیلی و رویکرد آن‌ها در استفاده از منابع اطلاعاتی الکترونیکی (مطالعه موردی: دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی واحد شیراز)

چکیده

هدف از پژوهش حاضر شناسایی رفتار اطلاع­یابی و چگونگی اولویت­دهی و استفاده­ی دانشجویان تحصیلات تکمیلی دانشگاه آزاد شیراز از منابع اطلاعاتی و ﺷﻨﺎﺳﺎﻳﻲ ﻧﻘﺶ ﺑﺮﺧﻲ وﻳﮋﮔﻲﻫﺎی ﺟﻤﻌﻴﺖ­ﺷﻨﺎﺧﺘﻲ داﻧﺸﺠﻮﻳﺎن در ﻓﺮاﻳﻨـﺪ اطلاع‌یابی و اﺳﺘﻔﺎده از ﻣﻨﺎﺑﻊ اﻃﻼﻋﺎﺗﻲ بود.روش پژوهش پیمایشی بود. جامعه پژوهش 298 نفر از دانشجویان تحصیلات تکمیلی دانشگاه آزاد شیراز بودند که به روش نمونه­گیری تصادفی طبقه­ای نسبی انتخاب شدند. ابزار گردآوری داده­ها پرسشنامه محقق‌ساخته بوده است. تجزیه‌وتحلیل داده­ها به کمک آمار توصیفی و استنباطی و با استفاده از نرم­افزار SPSS صورت گرفت.یافته­های پژوهش نشان داد که دانشجویان برای رفع نیازهای اطلاعاتی و روزآمدسازی اطلاعات خود بیشترین استفاده را به ترتیب از منابع الکترونیکی، چاپی و سپس انسانی داشتند. اﻛﺜﺮ اﻓﺮاد موردبررسی ﻣﻌﺘﻘﺪﻧﺪ ﻛﻪ فناوری­های اﻃﻼﻋﺎﺗﻲ و ارﺗﺒﺎﻃﻲ در ﻛﺎﻫﺶ ﻣﺮاﺟﻌﻪ آﻧﺎن ﺑﻪ ﻛﺘﺎﺑﺨﺎﻧﻪ ﻧﻘﺶ داﺷﺘﻪ اﺳﺖ. آﻧﺎن از ﻛﺘﺎﺑﺪاران در ﻣﺮﺣﻠﻪ­ی ﻧﺨﺴﺖ ﺑﺮای ﺟﺎﻳﺎﺑﻲ کتاب‌ها ﻳﺎ اﺳـﻨﺎد و جست‌وجوی اﻃﻼﻋﺎت ﻛﻤﻚ می‌طلبند. داﻧﺸﺠﻮﻳﺎن در ﻓﺮاﻳﻨﺪ اطلاع­یابی با مشکلاتی مانند ﭘﺮاﻛﻨﺪﮔﻲ اﻃﻼﻋﺎت در مکان‌های ﺑﺴـﻴﺎر ﻣﺨﺘﻠـﻒ، ﮔـﺮان ﺑﻮدن ﺗﻬﻴﻪ ﻣﻨﺎﺑﻊ اﻃﻼﻋﺎﺗﻲ و ﻣﻮﺟﻮد ﻧﺒﻮدن آﺧﺮﻳﻦ اﻃﻼﻋﺎت ﻣﻮاﺟﻪ بودند. به­رغم گسترش فناوری­های اطلاعاتی و ارتباطی بر میزان مراجعه حضوری دانشجویان به دانشگاه، تمامی انواع منابع اطلاعاتی همچنان مورداستفاده بود. متنوع بودن اهداف کسب اطلاعات، عامل تعیین­کننده نوع منبع اطلاعاتی بود و دانشجویان برحسب نیاز اطلاعاتی خود منبع اطلاعاتی را مشخص کرده و از آن استفاده می­کردند.

چکیده [English]

Background and aim: The purpose of this research is to investigate the information-seeking behaviourof Shiraz Islamic Azad University postgraduate students, and how to prioritize and use of various information sources. The research also investigate the role of demographic characteristics in students information-seeking process, as well as use of various information
sources.
Material and methods: The research method is surveying. The population of the study consisted of 298 postgraduate students that randomly selected through classified ratio sampling method. A researcher made questionnaire was developed and after measuring its validity and reliability, distributed among the sample in person. Data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics and SPSS software.
Findings: The results show that the students use from the electronic, printed and humanities resources respectively for fulfilling information needs and updating information. Students believe that information and communication technologies have reduced their visits to libraries. Students seek help from librarians primarily to locate books and other documents and to search for information at the first stage. Students encounter a range of problems and barriers in their information-seeking process that the most important are the Lack of resources, Expensive resources and the scattered information.
Conclusion: Despite of the effects of new technologies on students’ presence in academic libraries, all types of information resources are still consulted by them.Various purposes for of information acquisition determines the type of information source, and students identify and use the information resources according to their information needs.
