Method of this research was descriptive and survey type and the tool for collecting data was a questionnaire made by the researcher. The statistical population of this research was 100 student users from Tabriz central library who were sampled randomly. The main objective of the present research was to study the relationship of knowledge shar-ing and organizational commitment in Tabriz universities Librarians. (N=143), all of whom were selected as the sample based on the census sampling method. The number of returned question-naires was equal to 136 (95%). The required data and information were collected using the 13-item Wang and Wang Knowledge Sharing Questionnaire, and the 24-item Meyer and Allen’s Model of Organizational Commitment.. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient for knowledge sharing, and organizational commitment was obtained 0.81, and 0.72, respectively. For data analysis, descrip-tive and inferential statistical methods were used. Descriptive statistics was used for data classi-fication, summarization, and interpretation. In inferential statistics, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and Pearson correlation coefficient, Spearman correlation coefficient and one-sample t-test were used. The study findings showed that there is a direct and significant positive relationship be-tween knowledge sharing (and its dimensions) and organizational commitment. The results re-vealed that mean scores of knowledge sharing for principals participated in this study were high-er than the average.
