The main purpose of research is to determine the relationship between organizational commitment and the tendency to share knowledge among the staff of public libraries in Khuzestan province. This research was applied and using descriptive-correlational method. The statistical population of this research was all staff of public libraries. Simple sampling method has been used to determine the sample size, of which 215 were selected as statistical sample. The data were gathered using questionnaires and analyzed using the software SPSS.21.The results of the study showed that organizational commitment (mean = 78.44) and its dimensions are higher than average. Also, knowledge sharing (104 = 28/28) and its dimensions are higher than average. Meanwhile, there is a significant relationship between organizational commitment and employees' tendency to share knowledge in public libraries of Khuzestan province (sig = 0/001 = 0 / r = 0/688). Regarding the moderating role of descriptive statistics on the relationship between organizational commitment and knowledge sharing, it was found that only education corrected the relationship between organizational commitment and knowledge sharing, and the rest of the variables did not modify this relationship. The consequence is that the more these conditions become, the greater the sense of belonging to the organization and individuals will tend to share their knowledge, experiences and skills with other members of the organization.

The purpose of this study was to study the relationship between knowledge management and professional development and job performance of employees. The statistical population included 460 employees of Ilam University, and 210 people were selected as statistical samples using Kerjcie and Morgan tables. The present study was a correlational study and the required data were collected by library and field survey (questionnaire). The data collection tools included three knowledge management questionnaires, professional career development, and job performance. In order to determine the validity of the questionnaires, formal and content validity was used and to measure the reliability, Cronbach's alpha method was used. The calculated coefficient for the whole questionnaire was 0.967 and was confirmed. SPSS-22 statistical software was used to analyze the obtained data. The findings showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between knowledge management and job performance (r = 0.581) at 99%. Studies have also shown that there is a positive and significant correlation between knowledge management and professional development of employees (p = 0.056) at 99% level. Managers should try to make their employees aware of the benefits of using knowledge management programs for organizational performance and themselves. The present study offers a comparative analysis with exploration approach among university library websites in Iran and United States from standpoint user engagement via social medias. Descriptive survey method was used in this study. Websites composed of 21 academic university library websites in Iran and 16 academic university library websites in United states (37 websites) were investigated by direct observation using analytical database “similarweb“ during 3 months (February up to April 2019). Findings showed that in United States, 100% of the total university library websites attracted users through social media, compared to 19% in Iran. The number of users clicking or visiting the website of the university library via social media in Iran was 3% of the total number of users visiting the library's website. This figure in United States was up to 1% (Except for the MIT University libraries that the number was 11%). Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, Researchgate and Pinterest were the top media that university library websites in United States had user engagement through them.

The aim of this study is to survey the relationship between multilingual skills and information behavior of postgraduate students of Razi University. The research is an applied one that is conducted in a descriptive-analytical and survey method. The statistical population was all postgraduate students of Razi University who were studying in the second semester of the 2016-2017 academic year. Two-stage stratified sampling is used. The sample size was estimated by 365 Cochran's formula. The required data was collected using a researcher-made questionnaire. Data analysis was done by SPSS software Version 23. Findings showed no significant relationship between multilingual skills and information behavior in general. Four variables including age, gender, level of education, and employment were studied. Only level of education and employment had significant and positive relationship on students' information behavior. But there was no significant relationship between familiarity with different languages and information behavior of postgraduate students of Razi University. By examining the effect of language on students' information behavior, it is possible to predict their information behavior, provide better information resources that they need, and avoid spending money on unused resources. Students do not seem to be aware of the important power of language in their behavior, so it is necessary for students and universities to pay more attention to this issue. One of the solutions is to hold training classes and strengthen language skills, which can be held by universities and students themselves to take these courses outside the university.

The purpose of this study is systematic reviewing of organizing metadata standards to find the status of researches in digital libraries. The research attempted to categorize them in terms of the functional area and role that they play in digital libraries. By identifying the statue studded standards, it is possible to determine the functional place of other standards that expanded in the digital library area and are functionally similar to covered standards in this research. In this way, systematic review was used for study. By searching the databases, finally 42 research sources were selected for final review. Findings showed that the organizing standards, based on they role in digital library, could be categorized in seven sections (include Resource description, Resource structure determination, Resource management, Resource content organization, Local format definition in digital library database management system, Semantic context and interoperability). Then, a set of standards in each area were identified (50 standards in total). The results finally showed that MARC with 60.5%, DC with 44.7% and OAI and MODS with 42.1% were the most known standards. Audio-MD, VIDEO-MD with 5.3% also were the most unknown.

This descriptive survey evaluates the digital libraries of Allameh Tabataba’i University and Tebyan Cultural Institute based on the Xie and Joo (2013) digital library evaluation criteria. A checklist was made based on information from 10 structural dimensions of digital library evaluation criteria. It was then set up as a researcher-made questionnaire based on the Xie and Joo digital library evaluation criteria. To collect data, questionnaires were distributed among librarians and users of the two digital libraries. Sixty-three valid responses were collected and analysed with SPSS software .Findings showed that the two digital libraries were in a moderate condition in two dimensions (user engagement and context); and in good condition in the others. The findings of the inferential statistics show that there is no significant difference between users’ and employees’ viewpoints on the dimensions of the digital collection, interface design, context, preservation and administration (sustainability). However, regarding the information organization and services (level 0.01), the dimensions of technology and the effects on the user (level 0.02), there is a significant difference between the two systems in terms of the user engagement dimension with the relative superiority of Allameh Tabataba’i digital library. The results show that despite the differences in the type of these two libraries, there is not much difference between the studied dimensions (other than those mentioned in the findings), but in some dimensions, there is a slight difference between the respondents' opinions. It is seen with the relative and partial superiority of Allameh Tabataba’i digital library.
